1. Introduction:
Truck mounted attenuator or TMA is a crash cushion intended to reduce the damage to vehicles and motorists resulting from collision. TMA trucks are used at static worksites like construction zones or maintainence work zones on highway to protect workers, equipment and vehicles. It is made of all aluminum and honeycomb aluminum and it can absorb the impact energy from collision, to maximize protection of personnel and construction safety.
